Wine Blog

Welcome to Carmine’s Wines Wine Blog!  The De Ieso Famiglia has been embedded in the wine / hospitality industry since 1965 and continues today through Carmine’s Wines.

The Famiglia owned the historical Old Stonyfell Winery, setting up the first five-star restaurant in South Australia “The Drumminor” – nationally and internationally acclaimed with many awards.

Today I continue my passion of winemaking, with focus on boutique creations with help from my support team comprising of Winemakers, Sommeliers and cellar hands of old world and new.

I look forward to sharing stories with you about Carmine’s Wines, our wonderful support team, as well as many old and interesting tales from the wine world!
