WINEMAKERS NOTES

This 2020 Old Vine Shiraz, was handcrafted by Carmine De Ieso as winemaker, & assisted by the small – devoted team of the Original Stonyfell Winery Complex. The Blewitt Springs fruit, hand picked, open Vat fermented & basket pressed – Was then put to mature, in Seasoned French & American Oak Barrels, for 17 months. Resulting in a mid weight, aromatic, Spicy mouthfeel & lingering gentle Oak finish.

It has been awarded a High Silver, by the National, Australian Small Winemakers Judging panel & 94 Points by Winestate – will develop with Cellaring for 3- 5years or Drink Now, just give it 15 minutes to “Breathe” & enjoy with most grilled meats & or Tasty Pasta Dishes (like Penne Amatriciana )
